About G Squared UK Ltd - Sub Contractors Established 1996

G Squared UK Limited was originally started on a part time basis by Alec Grimsey in 1996, the idea was to source and supply manufactured parts to the engineering industry. Alec had established from experience that though engineers were excellent at producing and manufacturing parts there was a need to ensure parts were supplied on time and to the quality required, a time consuming and additional cost for any organisation that sub-contract the manufacture of parts.

With this knowledge the concept of sourcing and supplying machined / manufactured parts on a sub-contract basis was established. But only by using the most appropriate suppliers who had the capability in terms of quality, delivery and price.

This gave the added flexibility and advantage of also being able to ensure only suppliers with the most up to date modern machinery are used to manufacture the parts.

G Squared was born, with Alec being employed full time at the beginning of 2000 and incorporating the company in 2002.

Since that point, the company has not looked back experiencing substantial growth. It now supplies many large organisations countrywide and sources items in various quantities from around the world.

Such has been the success of G Squared that you may come across them in several guises.

Engineering Imports specialises in sourcing parts from overseas. This gives the benefit of having all the advantages of parts manufactured outside the UK while avoiding all the pitfalls. Such problems as import tax, fluctuations in exchange rate and economies of scale. With everything being stocked, inspected and shipped from our works in Andover, Hampshire it really is the best of both worlds.

Then of course there is G Squared UK Limited the parent company as already described.
